🧡 Our Story – “Rooted in Heritage”

Sarvada was born from a simple idea — bring back the power of Indian foods that have nourished generations. In an age of fads, we turn to time-tested traditions.

Our mission is to make eating healthy, simple, and soulful. That’s why we start small, grind fresh at home, and serve only what we would to our families.

Because when you eat like your ancestors, you thrive like them.

What makes Sattu a Superfood!

Sattu is a complete and wholesome food

Sattu is a complete balanced food. It is rich in micronutrients (micro minerals and vitamins), fibre, carbs and even fats. Yes, fats as well.

You may easily cover ~22 grams of your daily protein requirement just by consuming one glass of Sattu Sharbat, recipe shared above.

Sattu contains high amount of fats and carbs

Sattu is a complete, balanced, and natural food.

Along with fats and carbs, it has lot of fibre which keeps you full and satiated for longer while the carbs and fats ensure you are rightfully energised.

It contains lesser fats or carbs compared to your regular breakfast or snacking alternatives like - Paratha, Poha, Dosa, Idly, Samosa, Vada Pao, Onino Bhajji, peanut chikki, Chips, etc.

A versatile all rounder in your kitchen

Sattu can be used in a variety of recipes:

🔶For eating - Sattu Paratha, Litti Chokha, Sattu Kachori

🔶For drinking - Sattu Sharbat, Sattu shake, Sattu Chaas, etc.

I am a non-vegetarian so I don't need protein from Sattu

While it is true that, 81% of vegetarian Indians are protein deficient. Quite unfortunately, even 65% of non-vegetarian Indinas are protein deficient mainly because we eat significantly less meat and eggs as compared to what our body needs.

So, everyone needs protein and Sattu is a major source of it.

Protein is only for body builders or gym goers

Protein is a basic macronutrient that everybody needs. A lack of protein in the body can result in muscular degradation which has further long term impact on our health.

Life is so overwhelming already. how do I add Sattu in my daily routine.

You can consume Sattu Sharbat as a breakfast or evening snack replacement. It is very much filling and energising food that supports your busy schedule and helps you navigate throughout your work plans confidently.

I do not have time to prepare a meal with Sattu

Sattu sharbat takes less than 3 minutes to make, and less than 5 minutes to drink. Pinky promise.
